Cardinal Creek Kitchen

Maison Blonde was brought on to design a new, functional kitchen space in the Orleans neighborhood of Ottawa, ON. The design balances quiet luxury with relaxed functionality, perfect for daily cooking, entertaining friends and family, and enjoying slow moments at the island.

We paired creamy perimeter cabinetry with light oak accents, adding depth and softness. The custom island combines ample storage, open shelving for styling moments, and plush upholstered counter stools for comfort. Honed stone countertops and zellige backsplash tiles introduce subtle texture while keeping the palette light and calm.

Brass hardware, antiqued mirror, and unlacquered brass pendant lighting add just the right amount of patina and character. Built-in cabinetry, integrated appliances, and open shelving keep the space feeling curated but highly usable. The result is a kitchen that feels personal and inviting—an elegant backdrop for everyday life.
